Most of MB Apps are hybrid apps. This means that we re-use the code basis for each new platform you want to support. This speeds up the overall development process and keeps maintenance cost significantly lower than having separate code for each individual platform.

Ionic

Ionic is a feature-rich framework that elevates the app development process. With the platform-agnostic version 4 of Ionic, Marketing Bear is able to deliver apps written in Angular, React and Vue. If you have an in-house IT department, it allows us to write code in a way that your team is already familiar with.

We use Electron to super-charge the desktop app development process. Many large apps are already created with Electron. E.g. Slack or Skype

Swift/Java

Enterprise apps may require to be developed in native programming languages for each individual platform. In this case the Marketing Bear Dev team uses Swift for iOS and Mac and Java for Android apps.

FAQs

The scopes of apps can vary a lot depending on design and feature requests. The Marketing Bear Dev team can usually build very simple apps in just under a month, whereas larger apps that usually require in-depth testing with the target audience can take several months.

This depends on the implementation. Some of our apps are connected to a website and pull the content from there. With this set up you can use your website’s CMS to control the app’s content. However, adding, updating and/or removing functionality requires a professional developer.

You own the app’s code, the app’s design, and the app’s content and have complete freedom what to do with it.

We usually require 30% deposit upfront and 70% after the delivery/launch of your app. In special situations we do allow monthly payments. Please contact us to discuss the different options.

We currently have bank accounts in Thailand, USA, Australia & Germany. You can use any of these accounts to make a payment. You can view the bank information details here: Billing

In the very early stage of the project, we do offer the option for refunds. However, as soon as we plan the User Experience and the User Interface with you the deposit becomes non-refundable.

FAQs

We want to give you as much freedom as possible. You can cancel MB Ultra at any time.

You own all the content and the website’s design. This includes all images, artworks and texts we created for you. If you ever decide to cancel MB Ultra, we can provide you with a file that includes all content. This file can be read by Microsoft Excel or similar apps. Please keep in mind that we will not be able to share the backend (PHP) code of the website with you, but you are free to re-use the Design/Layout after you cancel your service. E.g. by saving the HTML output for each page and host it statically.

In short, yes. MB Ultra is hosted with Google Cloud inside a custom Kubernetes Cluster. Essentially it is a network of a lot of web servers that make sure that your website is always fast and responsive no matter how many website visitors using it concurrently. We also include one free domain with MB Ultra. However, please keep in mind that we will not be able to transfer the domain to another service within the first year of MB Ultra service, but we can point it to any webserver of your choice if necessary.

Yes, MB Ultra includes a basic email service with unlimited email accounts and a storage limit of 1GB for each account. If you need a more advanced email service, we can highly recommend Google G Suite and help you set it up with MB Ultra. (G Suite usage fees must be paid directly to Google)

You will be asked to transfer the base price in full prior we work on your website. After the first two weeks, we are usually ready with the first prototype of your website that you can take for a test drive. At that time we will also send you the first invoice for the first month of MB Ultra usage. All our invoices allow you two weeks to make the payment and the final payment date usually aligns with the day of the website launch. To avoid any delays, we recommend all MB Ultra customers to prepare the website content prior starting the website creation process. If you have more questions about our processes, please reach out to us at any time. After the website has launched, you will receive every month an invoice for the MB Ultra service. Important: We are aware that some website may require more time than most other websites. If your website is affected by this, we usually make exceptions and delay the first monthly MB Ultra invoice until your are happy with the result.

However, we will introduce credit card subscription payments in the beginning of 2020.

Furthermore we will launch the MB Ultra Portal in December 2019 for all MB Ultra customers. The portal will not only allow us to make requests, but also provide you with more detailed reports and data about your website at any time.

Of course! If you can prove that you paid for a new website in the last twelve (12) months and would like us to re-create the website in the MB Ultra network with the same design, then we wave the base fee of 25,000.00THB. If you paid for a website that is older than twelve (12) months or would like to get a new design, please feel free to choose our standard sign up process.

For simple requests we usually need one business day. If your request requires more time, we will let you know.
